Early Life

On November 20, 1983, Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, better known as Future, was born. Future grew up in a family of hustlers who made a living off the streets. He joined The Dungeon Family as a young adolescent with his cousin Rico Wado, one of the group’s original members.

This is how Future acquired his moniker; his cousin saw his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in rap and hone his poetic abilities. Future decided to pursue his dreams and put much effort into his music while still a student at Columbia High School. He eventually left the band and began creating his songs.

Music career

Future was ready for a big break when he dropped his first mixtapes in 2010 and at the beginning of 2011. Future’s third mixtape was released in January 2011, and a few months later, Y.C.’s “Racks,” a song that reached the Top Ten of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart, featured Future.

The rapper soon signed with major label Epic, and his official debut hit, “Tony Montana,” landed just outside the Top 20. The following April, its parent album, Pluto, arrived and debuted on the Billboard 200 at number two, helped by the second-place R&B/hip-hop single “Turn on the Lights,” which gave Future his first R.I.A.A. platinum certification.

Although no brand-new studio albums were released in 2013, Future had a successful year as a guest performer. He contributed to four R&B/hip-hop songs in the Top Ten that achieved gold or platinum status: Lil Wayne’s “Love Me,” Ace Hood’s “Bugatti,” Rich Gang’s “Tapout,” and Rocko’s “U. O.E.N.O.” Ciara, who later became his fiancée, remixed her song “Body Party,” on which he also had an appearance.

Honest, Honest Future’s follow-up full-length album was released in April 2014. It had both critical and commercial success, peaking at number two. The singles “Move That Dope” (containing Pharrell, Pusha T, and Casino) and “I Won” (co-produced by Metro Boomin and starring Kanye West) both achieved gold certification.

Future and Ciara’s breakup became known a few months after the album’s release. Three mixtapes and “Fuck Up Some Commas,” another hit track, were released in late 2014 and early 2015. They prepared the public for Future’s third album, DS2, which had its number-one debut in July 2015. A mixtape collaboration with Drake called What a Time to Be Alive hit the same position just two months later.

Early in 2016, Future released Evol, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 despite being unexpected and arriving early. Its Weeknd-collaborated track “Low Life” soon attained double platinum status. Another Drake-assisted hit from Future’s Beast Mode 16 mixtape, “Used to This,” was released in November of that year.

With the release of Future and H.N.D.R.X.X., two full-length albums, the roll carried on into 2017. The two albums, released in back-to-back weeks in February, maintained Future’s number-one albums, with the former becoming the rapper’s third straight platinum solo full-length. Later in the year, he joined Swae Lee on Ty Dolla $ign’s “Don’t Judge Me” before releasing Super Slimy, a collaboration with Young Thug.

In 2018, Future contributed two songs to the soundtrack in response. He first collaborated with Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and James Blake on the popular song “King’s Dead” from the Black Panther album, then a few months later, “No Shame” from Superfly was released.

He was a co-producer of the movie and not only contributed to the soundtrack but also gave it a presentation. Future began the year by releasing The Wizard, his seventh album, which earned his fifth solo chart-topper (and sixth overall).

Young Thug and Gunna made appearances during the concert, and Travis Scott provided production help on “First Off,” one of the album’s three top-charting singles. Future’s contribution to “King’s Dead” earned him a Grammy for Best Rap Performance less than a month after that album’s release.

With “Life Is Good,” another Drake duet, Future ushered in the new decade early. By the time he released High Off Life in May, the song had gone quadruple platinum and was his second Top Ten pop smash as a headliner.

High Off Life, originally going to be named after the previous hit, but Future decided against it because of the COVID-19 pandemic, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Tycoon and “Trillionaire,” the latter of which features YoungBoy Never Broke Again, were two of its follow-up songs.

Future and Lil Uzi Vert collaborated on the album Pluto x Baby Pluto before the year was over. Released in November 2020, the song debuted at number two.

Real Estate

Future has a great interest in real estate. He was once interviewed and said he plans to be a billionaire by investing in real estate. He continued by adding that whenever he gets a chance to talk with any billionaire, he always consults them on how they get rich, and they always say real estate is one of them.

Rapper Future, a Grammy-winning artist from Atlanta, recently moved to Miami after spending $16.3 million on a home on Allison Island. Each of the forty-nine residences on the exclusive island in the city’s North Beach neighborhood is a waterfront home.

The Douglas Elliman realtor who held the listing, Dina Goldentayer, said, “The area is already home to a sizeable list of high-profile personalities, and I’m sure the new owner will enjoy this wonderful new modern home and his new friends.” The house had a $19.9 million asking price.

The modern eight-and-a-half-bath, the seven-bedroom mansion provides plenty of space for stylish entertainment at 8,897 square feet. A courtyard separates the main home, which faces the river, from a guest house, which faces the street.

Glass walls in the main house provide great bay views from the first floor and the primary bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, a galley-style chef’s kitchen with dark oak cabinetry and a breakfast bar shares space with three separate lounge areas and a separate dining room.

The large main bedroom has two walk-in wine fridges, closets, a wet bar, and a seating area for watching television. The big bathroom has a free-standing bathtub, a double shower with plenty of glass, and two sinks. These rooms open onto a private balcony that is paneled in dark wood.

Philanthropy

Future, his mother, Stephanie Jester, and his sister Tia Wilburn established the FreeWishes Foundation 11 years ago. The nonprofit, whose mission is to “convey a message of hope, tenacity, and resilience to our community by providing support and making dreams come alive and wishes come true,” was established in memory of Jester’s maternal grandmother, Ruby Nell Gates.

As part of his Freewishes Foundation, Future visited Columbia High School and presented the school with a brand-new, luxurious weight room. The rapper first met with the Columbia Eagles head football coach and the rest of the high school football squad in Atlanta before traveling to Columbia to provide a new weight room to the school’s athletic department, which had not been upgraded in years.

Tia Wilburn, Future’s sister and co-leader of the Freewishes Foundation, asserted that it was crucial to “establish an environment for pupils in which they could feel at ease, take pleasure in their accomplishments, and achieve at their best.

According to their website, The Freewishes Foundation wants to “give community members with educational support, health & wellbeing, and transitional services to empower people to be self-sufficient and allow their dreams to come true.”

The Mask Off singer promoted the #MaskOn campaign during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, giving hundreds of masks to COVID-19 sufferers and healthcare professionals as one of his numerous charitable acts.

Future is using his charitable side to assist with Haiti’s hurricane and earthquake recovery operations. The rapper collaborated with his organization, Freewishes Foundation, and Direct Relief to organize a concert benefiting the Haitian recovery effort, with all net earnings going to the cause.

Controversies

Future came under fire from his followers on social media after saying he only wants to have multiple children with his future bride. The Atlanta rapper startled his fans in his most recent interview with G.Q. when he spoke up about parenting and said he only wants more children with his wife to make it more meaningful.

Future said in an interview, “If I ever get married, yes, by my wife, you understand what I mean? Of course, I want to have children with my wife. I’ve never had more than one child with a girl, so it may be as many as three. If I had two by her, it would be more than I had. I, therefore, believe it will be more special “.

He received harsh criticism for his comments on Twitter, with others referring to him as nasty.

In a separate interview with Genius, Future revealed that he had quit using cough syrup but had kept it a secret out of concern that his fans would stop “loving” him if they knew. Future then sang a song saying I Am too rich to be sobbed “overdose.”This made his fans very angry, and they all criticized him.

Before “allowing Wilson and Future to meet,” according to Future in an interview with Beats 1, Ciara brought their child to her new husband, Russell Wilson. Future said that Ciara is always controlling the son on what to do and that he should forbid Ciara from even mentioning him in public.

Due to this, Budden said that he doesn’t respect Future as a man and doesn’t see any maturation in him in real Life.

Since 2015, Future and Ciara have been at loggerheads in a public post-breakup fight. After Ciara learned that the rapper had been sleeping with his wardrobe consultant, the newlyweds called it quits. Future refuted the accusations, saying he was the one to break things off and that he only endured because he felt sorry for her.

The two have engaged in a turbulent back and forth ever since. Future has repeatedly defamed his ex on social media, supposedly costing Ciara an endorsement deal. Because of Future’s public venting of his concerns, his followers have been equally hostile, constantly defending the rapper and criticizing Ciara and her new husband.

Although Future’s toxic behavior hasn’t seriously damaged his reputation as a musician, there have been enough occasions to call for harsh judgment. Back in March, there were accusations that Future wouldn’t let “fattie” ladies into a Miami club where he was performing. He said, “I adore all ladies,” denying the accusations.

In 2017, he also drew criticism for tweeting that his “kids should make a sacrifice” for having a famous dad. The declaration comes a year after one of his baby mamas filed a lawsuit against him for “emotional neglect” of their son, claiming that Future’s poor parenting was to blame for the child’s “emotional and behavioral disorders.”

Personal Life

Future has had many relationships, but His relationship with Ciara stood out among all his other relationships. He was even getting married to 2013, the rapper and well-known R&B singer. Nevertheless, Ciara ended the engagement in 2014 owing to the musician’s loyalty.

Future was the target of a slander and defamation lawsuit from Ciara. Jessica Smith once filed a lawsuit against him for failing to pay child support and alleged that he had been a bad parent to their kid.

Eliza Reign, the last known mother of his child, also brought a child support claim against him. She said the rapper tried to coerce her into getting an abortion by threatening her after learning she was pregnant. It is unknown if he supports the children he has with all the ladies because most of his other baby mommas are not very well-known.

Since then, Future and Ciara have not gotten along very well, and the rap singer even insulted his baby’s mother in a slew of tweets. Future currently has eight kids from eight different women. Here are all of the musician’s children: Jakobi, 17, and Londyn, 11, both with India J; Prince, 7, and Brittni Mealy; Future Zahir, 5, and Ciara, a singer and ex-fiancée; Hendrix, 16 months; Paris; Kash; and Reign, 1; all with Joie Chavis; and Jakobi, 17, and Londyn, 11, both with India J.
